FAQ

 How does electrolysis work?

Electrolysis uses a fine probe and a small amount of electrical current to target and destroy the hair follicle’s growth center. This prevents the follicle from producing new hair.

Who can get treatments?

Everyone is welcome! Epic Electrology provides services for all genders, those with light to dark skin, PCOS, and transitioning individuals.

Is the treatment permanent?

Yes! Once a follicle is treated with electrolysis, it cannot grow hair again. Multiple sessions are needed to target all follicles in different growth phases.

What should I do before and after treatment?

Before: Come with clean skin, avoid caffeine, and stay hydrated.

After: Avoid sun exposure, saunas, and harsh skincare products for 24–48 hours.

How many sessions will I need?

Treatment plans vary depending on the area, hair type, and growth cycle. Most clients require several sessions for complete, permanent results.

Pain?

Discomfort is minimal — clients often describe it as a warm, tingling sensation or a quick pinch. Topical numbing options are available for sensitive areas
